My name is Valerie Brodnikova and I'm an aspiring artist.
Born in Ukraine and currently I'm living in New York City, which is a great place to live for a young artist.
I go to Edward R. Murrow High School, which has given me many opportunities to experiment with art, as well as grow as an artist. I have done a lot of mediums in art such as, sculpture, painting, printmaking, etc.

I started painting at age 4, more than 50 years ago.I am a graduate of Bronx HS of Science; I have a degree in fine arts (BA) from City College of NY., and a Certificate from The Art institute of Boston.I have participated in many shows, and had a one-man show at Modus Gallery on Austin Street in Forest Hills. My work has been critically acclaimed; I have been called The “21 Century El Greco”.I call my colorful style “wonderism”, as it celebrates the wonder of life, the opposite of terrorism.I am a native New Yorker in a long line of New Yorkers.
